Over three days, immerse yourself in the timeless art of life drawing, set against the serene backdrop of a 16th-century Quinta overlooking the sea. Whether you’re an experienced artist or simply love to create, this retreat offers the perfect space to slow down, experiment, and deepen your craft in a calm and inspiring environment.

The life drawing sessions are thoughtfully self-guided, giving you the freedom to explore your own creative process at your own pace. From drawing circles to experimental moments, you’ll have space to refine your techniques, explore new materials, and find joy in uninterrupted artistic practice.

The retreat also includes moments to unwind and connect, with a visit to the breathtaking Palace of Monserrat, shared meals at the Quinta, and an intimate wine-tasting evening. Each element is crafted to create a relaxed, enriching experience where art and community come together seamlessly. My mission has always been to create meaningful, impactful communities that empower individuals to thrive. I believe in shining a light on others, holding space for creativity, and nurturing environments where creatives can flourish.

I firmly believe that every artist deserves a space to create, connect, and be celebrated for their unique talent. As the founder of Life Drawing Cascais, I’ve spent the last four years cultivating a vibrant creative community in Portugal. It’s been an incredible journey of exploration, connection, and artistic growth. Now, I’m thrilled to welcome you to this magical retreat—a place where you can immerse yourself in drawing, find inspiration, and experience the beauty of Portugal.​
Quinta de São Thiago
Nestled in a valley, overlooking the sea, the Quinta is one of those rare places where you can truly disconnect from what doesn’t matter and connect to what really does.
A majestic, 16th century property with an ageless heart, it is here that our family have celebrated the most important moments of our lives for almost one hundred years. Extraordinarily private, disarmingly beautiful and completely unique, the Quinta is the perfect place for new memories to be made.
